You have a pc, whether windows or linux you have dozens of options for using a gamepad and the luxury of chosing the best one. ![]() games are absolutely not obligated to conform to it and SHOULDN"T BE and MANY AREN'T and many in development WILL NOT! you don't seem to understand the point behind them and ignore that thousands of games both small and AAA huge budget affairs require launchers. exeīig picture mode and steam os have NOTHING to do with oniken. If you don't like the launcher then don't use it. I'm not even certain yet what other issues need to be addressed because I'm going to have to install the game on another machine just to try to play it. Yet if you exit the launcher everything else that can see and use the controller still works just fine with it. ![]() Especially when even the launcher doesn't recognize the controller input when you try to remap the inputs. You admit in the FAQ that users have had issues but rather than work on fixing them you send people to Microsofts site for the 360 controller? If peoples controllers work in dozens of other games (or hundreds in my case), they work to control everything in big picture mode right up to launching your game (or rather the launcher for your game) then it is readily apparent that the problem isn't on the users end with their controller. No controller support in Linux? Are you kidding? On an NES style game that is obviously meant to be played with a controller?ģ. The whole point of big picture mode and SteamOS is to be able to sit back and play games on your TV without needing a keyboad and mouse.Ģ.Speaking of big picture and SteamOS. There is absolutely nothing in the front end launcher that shouldn't be handled in game just like thousands of other games over the years have done. ![]() It makes the game unplayable for people using big picture and a controller.
